School Attendance

Our school's Attendance Policy has been updated in response to recent communication with representatives of the Local Authority.

The Local Authority monitors the attendance of all pupils and works closely with the school to identify and address any concerns.

As a result of concerns about attendance, changes to the policy have been agreed in order to support our children to attend school regularly.

The Letter to Parents (October 2017) summarises these changes and is available to download.

Our Attendance Policy is also available to download.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning raised £153.12.

E-safety Guidance & CEOP

Staff at Woodthorpe Community Primary are committed to teaching our pupils about internet safety and being responsible internet users.

As part of the National Crime Agency, CEOP (The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) gives great advice to parents and children about staying safe online.

Victoria Harris is a Trained Ambassador for CEOP and is available to offer advice and help about supporting children in the use of the Internet and staying safe online. Please ask at school reception for more details.

CEOP's dedicated website, Think You Know, allows worries about online activity to be explored and their 'Click CEOP' button can be used to report any concerns you may encounter.
