E-safety Guidance & CEOP
Staff at Woodthorpe Community Primary are committed to teaching our pupils about internet safety and being responsible internet users.
As part of the National Crime Agency, CEOP (The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) gives great advice to parents and children about staying safe online.
Victoria Harris is a Trained Ambassador for CEOP and is available to offer advice and help about supporting children in the use of the Internet and staying safe online. Please ask at school reception for more details.
CEOP’s dedicated website, Think You Know, allows worries about online activity to be explored and their ‘Click CEOP‘ button can be used to report any concerns you may encounter.

Using Technology and it’s risks
Children use technology every day in school, and most children have access to computers, tablets, mobile phones and games consoles at home, which they access daily.
Please download our Technology and Risks Letter and see the following range of leaflets. These guides are to support you and your and children. Please take the time to read these, and share them with your child if you feel it is appropriate.
