2022/23 Extra-Curricular Sports Activities and Competitions

At Woodthorpe we aim to promote participation in activity and sport through not only PE lessons but also in our wide and varied extra-curricular offerings over the year. In addition to this, we feel it is equally important for children to challenge themselves in a competitive environment against other schools. We believe that this supports excellence and allows children to build their sporting character through learning about resilience, sportsmanship, honesty, and managing the feelings of winning and losing.

Below is a termly outline of what we have on offer throughout this year both with clubs and competitions. However, please be mindful that these are always subject to change over the course of the year.
