Woodthorpe Community Primary School - Main Scale Teacher (Inclusion)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our school and contribute to the development of a new resource for children of all ages. From September, we will be establishing an Inclusion Base, which will support children across the school, delivering intervention and a bespoke provision allowing them to access all areas of learning in a creative and appropriate way. The successful applicant will work closely with our SENCO and Inclusion Leader and will liaise closely with class teachers to deliver a considered and effective approach for each child. Excellent communication skills will be essential in this role, as will a commitment to inclusion of all children and a resilient yet creative streak, which will support all learners in overcoming barriers and experiencing success.

We believe this new role to be unique and for that reason visits are essential in order to find out more.

Woodthorpe Community Primary School - Main Scale Teacher

Woodthorpe is a community, day, co-educational Primary School for children from 3 to 11 years old. It has no particular religious affiliation. We aim to ensure that our children have the best possible education that equips them with the skills, knowledge, qualities and values that will follow them through life.

At Woodthorpe Primary School it is our mission to provide a curriculum which is engaging, exciting, relevant and fun for all learners in the 21st century. We teach a curriculum based on the skills that children need to acquire in order to be successful in each subject. Alongside this children are given opportunities to develop learning attributes that will support them throughout their lives.

The governors would like to appoint a full time, main scale teacher to start in September 2020. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team of teaching staff. The successful applicant will be an excellent practitioner, have high expectations of children's achievement and be able to work effectively with colleagues as part of a dedicated team who work collaboratively and are supportive of each other. The role would suit NQTS, RQTS or more experienced staff. Colleagues who have experience in any area of the primary phase (EYFS, KS1 or KS2) are encouraged to apply. The school would ensure the successful candidate receives excellent professional development and opportunities to develop their career.
